1. Antibacterial Effect: Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is known for its powerful antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral activity, which makes it an excellent ingredient for homemade cleaning products, home healthcare treatments and wound cleaning.
2. Detoxifying Ability: Eucalyptus globulus essential oil helps detoxify the liver, kidneys, and bladder, and can be used to rid the body of built up toxins.
3. Respiratory Health: Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is often used to help treat respiratory issues and congestion, such as colds and the flu. It can help reduce inflammation in the chest and clear out congestion in the respiratory tract.
4. Skin Health: Eucalyptus globulus essential oil has anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, and antiseptic properties, and can be used to treat pimples, rashes, insect bites, and other skin conditions.
5. Pain Relief: Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is often used for muscular aches and pains, due to its anti-inflammatory properties. It may also be used to help relieve headaches, arthritis, and joint pain.
Diffusion: Add 2-3 drops to a diffuser or essential oil burner.
Dilution ratio: 2-5 %(6-30 drops per 20mL) in a carrier oil.
BODY
Massage: Add 2 drops to 1tbsp of jojoba oil and apply to the upper torso to treat bronchitis.
Steam inhalation: Add 2 drops to steaming water and inhale to combat fatigue.
SKIN
Swab: Add 1 drop to a cotton swab soaked in warm water and dab on affected areas to soothe insect bites and stings.
MIND/MOOD
Eucalyptus's pungent, lemony aroma clears the head and lungs to reduce the severity of cold symptons.
Combine 2 drops each of eucalyptus, lavender, Australian sandalwood, lemon and thyme (linalool CT)
