Diffusion: Add 3-4 drops to a diffuser or essential oil burner.
Dilution ratio: 1-2% (6-12 drops per 20mL) in a base oil.
BODY
Body rub: Add 2 drops to 1 tbsp jojoba oil for a brisk all-over body rub that strengths the immune response when you’re feeling run down.
Compress: Add 2 drops to tepid water. Soak a face washer and apply to affected areas to improve circulation and treat varicose veins.
SKIN
Direct method: Add 1 drop to a cotton tip and apply directly to treat warts.
HOUSEHOLD
Cleaning: Disinfect a dishcloth by sprinkling a few drops of lemon oil on it after washing in soapy boiling water.
MEDITATION Diffuse 2 drops each of lemon, grapefruit, cypress and mandarin, plus a drop of basil.
MIND/MOOD Diffuse 2 drops of lemon and 4 drops of grapefruit to combat fatigue.
BODY
Massage: Add 2 drops each of lemon and sandalwood to 1 tsp sweet almond oil and apply to the shoulders and chest to ease mucous congestion.
Non-toxic and non-irritant when diluted.
Lemon essential oil may cause photosensitivity; we recommend diluting to a maximum of 2% in a carrier oi.
In general, our lemon essential oil is safe for use with kids, while pregnant, nursing or around pets.
