Why Spike Lavender Essential Oil

Spike lavender, Lavandula latifolia, is a more aromatic member of the lavender family. Compared with true lavender, its profile is fresher, greener, and more distinctly camphoraceous, giving it a brighter presence in diffusion and body blends. Choose Spike Lavender Essential Oil when you prefer a floral scent with herbaceous lift rather than a soft, sweet, powdery lavender character.

The Aroma

Fresh and green at the opening, with a restrained floral heart and dry herbaceous facets. Its camphoraceous finish is cool, clean, and penetrating rather than heavy—well suited to airy, citrus-led, or woody compositions.

How to Use

Diffuse

Add 3–4 drops to your diffuser or essential-oil burner. Begin with fewer drops in a compact space.

Body Ritual

Dilute 3–6 drops in 10mL of unscented carrier oil or lotion before applying to the body.

Bath

Blend 2–3 drops first into a suitable bath dispersant or pre-diluted bath oil. Do not add undiluted essential oil directly to water.

A Considered Ritual

Diffuse Spike Lavender when the room calls for a fresher expression of lavender. Its green floral character and camphoraceous lift sit beautifully in morning light, after a long day, or alongside an open window.

For a more layered home blend, pair it with lemon and rosemary for brightness, or Atlas cedarwood for a drier, grounded finish.
