Lemongrass Essential Oil

Diffusion: Add 2-3 drops to a diffuser or essential oil burner.

Dilution ratio: Maximum 0.7% (4 drops per 20mL) in a base oil.

MOOD: Combine 2 drops each of lemongrass, geranium, lime, tangerine and Australian sandalwood.

MIND: Diffuse 2 drops of lemongrass and 4 drops of lemon to clear and disinfect the air.

BODY

Massage: Add 1 drop each of lemongrass, grapefruit and lavender to 1 tsp sweet almond oil and apply to the abdomen to aid digestion.

Sports rub: Combine 1 drop each of lemongrass, rosemary and peppermint with 1 tsp base oil and rub into sore joints to help shift lactic acid.

Footbath: Soak in 2 drops each of lemongrass and tea tree in a base oil to treat fungal infections such as athlete’s foot.

HOUSEHOLD

Deodorizing room spray: Add 2 drops each of lemongrass, rosemary, lemon and peppermint to 1 tbsp white vinegar and add to a 125mL spray bottle with distilled water. Mix well. Spray to deodorize cupboards and the surrounding air.

Use well-diluted. Can cause dermal irritation. To avoid the risk of various safety issues, we recommend a maximum dilution of 0.7% for topical applications. Possible drug interactions.

Not for use during pregnancy, while breastfeeding and on children under 10 years. For external use only.
