Properties: One of the most balancing oils, known for its anti-inflammatory and astringent qualities.
Great for: Skincare (irritations, dryness, acne), hormonal balance, stress relief
Blends well with: Bergamot, clary sage, chamomile, lavender, lemon, neroli, rose, ylang ylang
Breathe deeply and let its floral embrace restore harmony to mind and skin.
Aromatic: Add 2-3 drops to a diffuser or essential oil burner.
Dilution ratio: 1-4% (3-24 drops per 20mL) in a base oil.
SKIN
Skin cream: Add 1-2 drops to 1 tbsp unscented moisturizer to and apply daily to balance sebum production and treat conditions such as acne and dry eczema.
Lotion: Add 2-3 drops to 1 tbsp unscented lotion and apply to hands and feet to treat chilblains.
HAIR
Treatment: Add 2 drops each of geranium and frankincense to 1 tsp argan oil. Use as hair treatment and finger comb it through hair 30 mins before shampoo for lush, shiny hair and remedy split ends.
MIND/MOOD
Combining with other measured florals, this geranium helps comfort the heart and regulate hormonal imbalances.
Combine 2 drops each of geranium, lavender, rose absolute and tangerine.
OR
Diffuse 2 drops geranium and 4 drops of lavender to balance emotional unrest and anxiety.
