Properties: soothing, antibacterial, antimicrobial, astringent
Great for: meditation, skincare, bath, travel
Blends well with: bergamot, clary sage, frankincense, geranium
Diffusion: Add 2-3 drops to a diffuser or essential oil burner.
Dilution ratio: 0.5-3% (3-18 drops per 20mL) in a base oil.
BODY
Massage: Add 2 drops to 1 tsp sweet almond oil and apply it to treat respiratory infections.
Compress: Add 2 drops to warm water. Soak a face washer and apply it to the stomach to treat chronic diarrhea.
Steam inhalation: Add 2 drops to steaming water and inhale to calm a racing heart when in shock.
SKIN
Lotion: Add 2 drops to 1 tbsp unscented lotion and apply to treat slow-healing wounds and ulcers.
MEDITATION Combine 1 drop of each of myrrh, cedarwood and frankincense, plus 2 drops each of sweet orange and tangerine.
MIND/MOOD Diffuse 2 drops of myrrh and 4 drops of frankincense to create a space for reflection and contemplation.
