Experience a peaceful slumber by diffusing in the air, adding a few drops to a warm bath, placing a drop or two on a cotton pad by your pillow, or mixing with unscented lotion or carrier oil to help with restlessness.

Diffusion: Add 3-4 drops to a diffuser or essential oil burner.
Topical: Dilute at 2-4% (12-24 drops per 20mL) in a base oil.

BODY
Chest rub : Add 3-4 drops to 1 tbsp unscented balm and apply to the chest, back and feet to erase symptoms of cold and flu.
Bathe: Soak in 4-5 drops in base oil to soothe aching joints and prepare for sleep.
Compress: Add 2 drops to cool water. Soak a face washer and apply to the temples and the back of the neck to ease mild headaches.

SKIN
Lotion: Add 2 drops to 1 tbsp unscented lotion and apply to soothe red, inflamed skin conditions and reduce scarring.
First aid: Dab 1 drop directly onto bites and stings or minor cuts and wounds.

MEDITATION
Combine 2 drops each of lavender, mandarin, lime and geranium plus 1 drop of palmarosa and diffusion during meditation.

MIND/MOOD
Diffuse 2 drops of lavender and 4 drops of petitgrain to lift flagging spirits.

BODY
Footbath: Soak in 4-5 drops each of lavender and helichrysum in a base oil for a calming effect on the nervous system.
