Aromatic: Diffuse using 3-4 drops per 100 mL of water in our vaporizer or burner.
Topical: Dilute to 2-5% in a carrier.
MIND/MOOD
Diffuse 2 drops of may chang and 4 drops of bergamot when you need to remain calm, yet switched on.
HOUSEHOLD
Room Spray: Add 2 drops each of may chang and lemongrass to a 125mL spray bottle with filtered water. Shake well and spray to deter insects. To apply this blend to ankles and feet as bug repellent, add to 1 tbsp of aloe vera gel.
BODY
Massage: Add 2 drops to 1 tsp base oil and apply to the shoulders and chest during flu season.
Bathe: Soak in 4-6 drops in base oil to boost the immune response, especially leading up to winter.
Footbath: Soak in 3-4 drops in base oil to treat tinea and athlete's foot. Boost with patchouli and myrrh.
Steam inhalation: Add 2-3 drops to a bowl of steaming water and inhale to ease bronchial congestion.
SKIN
Cotton bud: Add 2-4 drops to 1/2 cup warm water, soak a cotton square and dab onto the affected area to treat insect bites, cuts and wounds, boils, blisters and shingles.
First aid: Dab 1 drop onto a bandage and apply to blister for fast relief.
MIND/MOOD
Diffuse 4 drops of spearmint and 2 drops of basil to for a refreshing uplifting effect.
BODY
Footbath: Add 3 drops each of spearmint and peppermint in base oil for a reviving body and mind treatment.
SKIN
Antiseptic cream: Add 3 drops each of tea tree, geranium, lavender and cedarwood to 30mL of unscented lotion and decant into a dark-glass jar. Use to sanitize chaffed skin.
